This remote school psychologist role involves working 35-40 hours per week, supporting approximately 40-50 students through comprehensive psychological services. You'll conduct psychoeducational evaluations, provide crisis intervention support, deliver counseling services, and consult with educators and familiesall through secure virtual platforms. Core Duties and Expectations
Your primary responsibilities include administering and interpreting psychological assessments to determine eligibility for special education services. You'll participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contribute to IEP development, and provide direct counseling services to students facing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges. Data analysis, progress monitoring, and developing behavioral intervention plans are integral aspects of the role. You'll serve as a mental health resource for school teams, offering consultation on classroom management strategies and student support approaches.
Qualification Requirements
- Valid Kentucky school psychologist license
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Minimum two years of experience in school-based settings
